My Plays (and Screenplays)
I write 10-minute plays, one-acts, and full-length plays, most of which are comedies. I also write short screenplays, and I've written a TV pilot and several spec scripts for existing shows.
My first full-length is complete and awaiting a reading. It's a play about totally wrong portraits, fear of success, and roommates.
I've been a playwright member of NTC since its first season in 2016. In Season 3, seven of my plays were produced.
My first play, A Bouquet a Day, premiered at the Source Festival in Washington, DC, in 2015. It's since been produced by the Network Theatre Company, and it won the Manhattan Repertory Theatre Company Ten-Minute Play Competition in 2016.
"Fun and quirky yet polished and focused...fascinating to watch unfold." - Broadway World
"A madcap comedy...the best play of the night." - DC Theatre Scene
"They saved the best for last." - DC Metro Theater Arts
Fireworks for a Funeral was originally written as a play, but I adapted it into a screenplay that went on to be a finalist at the DC Shorts Film Festival. It was given a reading in front of an audience with the five other finalists. This year, it premiered on-stage at the Network Theatre Company's ten-minute play festival.
